Recent News

 

Version 2.0 of the CompAero and TurbAero systems were released on April 28, 2011.  Resale licenses by Flexware, Inc are designated as version 3.0 for specific identification when software support is requested.  Upgrades to the new version are available to licensed users at a modest fee to offset the cost of supplyimg them. [view details and history of version numbers].    

 

A common recent question is "will the software run on Windows 7 64-bit PCs?"  Answer is Yes.  That is what I am using myself and several other licensed users are doing so also.  No problems reported to data.

 

Collaboration  with several licensed users interested in green-energy applications has extended TurbAero to "rotor-only' configurations such as wind turbines and wave turbines [details]  

Special Information For Users

 

Some single-user direct-sale software licenses may require adjustment due to organizational changes and similar issues.  Those adustments can usually be accomodated by a single-user transfer agreement [view agreement].  When they are approprite, these agreements are processed at no charge.

 

Windows XP users should note an issue with printed output has been encountered by some users.  See the current User's Guides for a simple "fix" or  view it here with Adobe Reader [view issue].

 

Folders (directories) used by this software cannot include a period in their names.  File names (including path) can include only one period (before the file name extender).
